Error 6: Blade Stall

Variable M480

The saw blade speed has dropped below the minimum allowed speed while trying to make a cut.

What to do now

Press the START button to attempt to restart the saw blade, or stop the saw by holding the STOP button.

What to do next

  1. If the saw was trying to make a long scarf cut, try to push/pull on the side of the timber to reduce the load on the blade and hit the START button. The saw will then try resume cutting if possible.
  2. Check if the feeder drive rollers require cleaning.
  3. Check that all of the side and top nylon clamp rollers can spin freely - the bearings have not seized.
  4. Try to recut the stick/member using a different piece of timber.
  5. Try changing the saw blade.
